Self Storage FAQs
Do you require a contract?
Yes. We require a minimum of a one month lease.
What do you require to execute the contract?
We require a valid driver’s license and payment of the first month’s rent and security deposit. We will take a photo copy of your license for our files.
When are the storage payments due?
The day we create your contract, will be the same day your payments will be due, each month. If you rented on the 15th, your payments are due on the 15th.
Do you require notice to terminate the lease?
Yes, we require a 30 day notice to our site manager in order to receive a refund of your security deposit.
Do you have security cameras at your facility?
Yes. We have several security cameras on the property, and they are monitored in the office by our site manager.
What size Self-Storage units do you offer?
Sizes generally range from 5 x 5 to 10 x 35. Please call one of our locations for the specific sizes they offer.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Saturday’s 9am to noon. We are closed on Sundays. Property access times are 7am to 7pm.
What are my payment options?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
Can I make a payment over the phone, or online?
Yes. We offer online payment through our website, and can take credit card payments over the phone.
Do I have to supply my own lock?
Yes. You can purchase a lock in our office, or bring one of your own.
What if I lose my key, or forget my combination?
Let our site manager know, and we can arrange to have the lock cut off. The lock will only be cut with approval from the person listed on the lease. We do not allow you to cut the lock off yourself.
Do you prorate my final month?
No. As a general rule, we do not offer pro-rated billing. Therefore we do not refund prepaid rent.
Are there certain things I am NOT allowed to store in my unit?
Yes. Unlawful, corrosive, hazardous, flammable, poisonous, perishable or other dangerous substances are prohibited from being stored.
